Founded in 1986, Hospitality Partners is a partnership between The Donohoe Companies and the D.V.P. Corporation. The Donohoe Companies, founded in 1884, is the oldest Washington, D.C. based real estate development, management, and construction company. The founding partners of the D.V.P. Corporation are Michael M. Dickens, John A. Vernon, and Frederick J. Palloni, Jr.

While Hospitality Partners is primarily a hotel management company and purchaser of hotels, it also supplies consulting and technical services for The Donohoe Companies, other developers, and lenders.

The synergy created by the combination of Hospitality Partners and The Donohoe Companies is a critical component in the success of the partnership. In this partnership there is the range of expertise necessary to ensure a successful hotel venture. The project has the benefit of a coordinated and cohesive effort in the planning, development, construction, financing, marketing and operation of the hotel. Beyond Hospitality Partners' general hotel experience, the principals of the company have  particular expertise in the marketing, operation, and management of all suite hotels. Our Corporate employees have more than 100 years of combined work experience with Embassy Suites and the former Guest Quarters chains. Few if any hotel companies can match the breadth of experience and expertise that Hospitality Partners has in all suite 
hotels.
